The goal of NDWF is to achieve reduction of violence and militancy in the region and enhance peace and security for meaningful development in the region and the country at large, and to undertake activities which are ancillary, incidental or conducive to the promotion and attainment of the aims and objectives of the Organization

Vision/Mission/Goal (VMG)

The vision of NDWF is to unite, promote and protect the rights and interest of the women of the Niger delta Region through advocacy for peace and development in the region and the mission is to collaborate with other NGOs with similar objectives to engage government authorities at federal, state and local government levels and other Agencies for the enhancement of peace and development in the region as well as educating and mobilizing the youths to shun militancy and engage in gainful occupation. The goal of NDWF is to achieve reduction of violence and militancy in the region and enhance peace and security for meaningful development in the region and the country at large, and to undertake activities which are ancillary, incidental or conducive to the promotion and attainment of the aims and objectives of the Organization

Geographic coverage

NDWF is an all-female organization with membership spread in all the six States of the South South Zone of Nigeria namely Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa, Cross River, Delta, Edo and Rivers States

Organization’s governance and management structure

NDWF is governed by a five member Board of Directors while the daily activities is entrusted to the President and the National Executive Committee. The President is assisted by a Deputy President and a Vice President, the Secretary, Treasurer, Financial Secretary and Publicity Secretary. The States are governed by a Coordinators who report to the President.
